Free Agency Upon Us

Posted by nickwagoner on July 29, 2011 – 2:54 PM

- Later this evening, the Rams and the rest of the NFL world will officially dive into free agency. While agreements are being struck in various places for guys to sign, there are still a lot of talented players on the market and a lot of guys that figure to shake loose by being released.

- Remember, veteran free agents can’t sign until 5 p.m. CST today and then after that cannot take part in any on field football activities until Aug. 4.

- While maybe the reports haven’t put much out about the Rams, rest assured they are working hard to add to the roster and will have some activity for you when the time hits. Just like anything else, nothing will be public until pen is put to paper.

- Stay tuned for what should be an interesting day.

You know what would be nice. If the rams went and got the newley released ty warren from the patriots and if we were to pick up a back up running back like willis mcgahee. to vets that both are very good especially ty warren. If we were to get that big body on our d-line we would most definatly have the best d-line in football or at least a seriously feared d-line. With ty warren we can finally stop the run. He is a massive man to clog up the middle to force most running backs outside. Imagine fred robbins and ty warren right by each other plus then we have cliff ryan to come in when they need a breather. Also ty warren demads a double team imagine what it will do for our edge rushers like chris long and james hall and our newley aquired rookie robert quinn. I think if we had a player like ty our defense will be amazing. We need to do whatever we can to beef up i mean look at our schedule and even people in our division are getting some talent. Please rams i know you probably wont look at my post but if you do i beg that you give this a little consideration :). Go Rams.
