NFL Suspends Pettis

- Rams rookie WR Austin Pettis has been suspended for four games by the NFL today for violation of the league’s rules on performance enhancing drugs.

- The following is a statement from Rams coach Steve Spagnuolo released moments ago:

“Austin’s situation is unfortunate,” said St. Louis Rams Head Coach Steve Spagnuolo.  “Obviously, we are disappointed and will miss him during this suspension, but the NFL’s policies are very clear and we respect the League’s decision in this matter. We are unable to comment further on this matter or any aspect of the NFL’s Drug Policy.”
