Rams Wrap Practice Week: Amendola, Saffold Questionable

Posted by nickwagoner on November 9, 2012 – 8:30 PM

- The Rams just finished their preparation for San Francisco with a Friday practice under more sunny skies and warm termperatures. In fact, the past two days were probably a good comparison to what they’ll see by the bay this weekend in terms of weather.

- WR Danny Amendola (shoulder) and T Rodger Saffold (knee) finished the week with another limited practice. Both are listed as questionble for Sunday. Their fates for Sunday probably won’t be determined until close to game time.

- Here’s how the rest of the injury report looks:

Doubtful: S Darian Stewart (knee), DE Eugene Sims (knee).
Questionable: Amendola, Saffold, LB Mario Haggan (thigh), T Wayne Hunter (back), DT Kellen Heard (foot)
Probable: T Barry Richardson (head), LB Justin Cole (illness), DT Kendall Langford (non-injury excused absence on Thursday).

- The Rams will be doing things a bit different for this road trip as they are scheduled to depart for San Francisco tonight. Upon arrival, the team will head to its hotel and then have meetings and a walk through in there tomorrow.

- Rams coach Jeff Fisher said the Titans did some different things when he was there but he felt like this would be the best approach for this trip. The team will likely repeat the early departures for the other west coast trips this season.

“We’ve done different things, but we felt like that would be the best way to handle this,” Fisher said. “They’ll have three or four hours off and we’ll head out tonight, just tuck them in and then have a normal Saturday out there tomorrow.”

- That’s all for today. Thanks for reading.
