It's good to finally see Jenkins getting a little of the credit he deserves. He played like a man possesed this year. Oh, in case you didn't already know) his 4 defenseive TD's for the season were more then any other player for any position in the entire NFL this year.

I must have watched that first pick 6 (in the game he had 2) like thirty times. He had already turned his hips and was actually heading down the field, away from the reciever when the ball got RELEASED. He planted, turned, and F-ing exploded in the other direction.

Before the ball can even make it to the reciever, who is barely even 3 yards off the line of scrimmage, he takes 3 steps and is going full speed the other direction with the ball.its as if the laws of physics don't seem to apply to him. When he runs full out it seems like time slows down for every other player on the field but him. It reminded me alot of watching a player that could do that back in the 90's-Good ol Deon 'Prime Time' Sanders. Watch out yall, this kid is going to learn to play the position for real and he is gonna be scary good.

I know I'm biased but he gets my vote for Defensive Rookie of the year to go with this award also.

Brockers deserves this award fair and square, nothing more nothing less. If he would have played a full season he would be in line for quite a few more awards I imagine. We might even have won a couple of those close ones he was out of and we might still be playing right now.

But don't worry its just going to get better big dog. I hope you don't mind all the attention you're going to get when the world realizes that you, Kendal, Chris and Robert are the most dominant front 4 in the league. BAR NONE (really, name the team with a better 4 starting D Lineman, I dare you.)

A little off topic but since you already quit reading I'll ramble. Laurinitus and Finnigan are top 3/ top 10 at their position. Dunbar is legit and Mikel & Dahl are just slightly above average. With maybe some help at safety and just a little more help from the offense to work the clock more and force teams into bad field position and more comback situations, this team could easily have the BEST DEFENSE IN THE NFL next year. (they already are in my eyes but I see through blue and gold contacts ;)

As for the All Rookie squad goes.....

I'd like to go ahead and nominate Chris 'big play' Givens, and Legetron for at least honorable mentions.

I know Greg pulled a few big ones to the right. But alot of those were so long most kickers wouldn't even get to line up for them. I mean 60 and 62 in one game alone is enough for me. And, how bout all those game winning/tying 50+ yarders. Yah he came back to earth after like 12 straight. But his superhuman start should have easily outweighed his comparativly average finish. The 'Blair Kick Project' was impressive, but if Zeurline didn't win he gets a close second.

And I know, I know, Blackmon EVENTUALY,showed off his skills down the stretch. But just like Greg, Givens is either 1st or a close 2nd. It hurts my heart to see him not even get the number 2 nod. Don't worry kid. You and Danny can fight over who gets to be the NFL's leading reciever next year.

All in all it was a most impressive year for the Rams, Thank you Sneed and Fisher for giving this ol Ram fan hope again.

p.s. can I have a little more help on that O-line this off-season.
